Hosting Settings

Hosting World Settings

Customize your hosted Minecraft world with Pawn's hosting settings, including authentication, player limits, relay regions, and cross-version compatibility.

Online Mode

Controls Minecraft account authentication.

  • Enabled: Requires authenticated Minecraft accounts.
  • Disabled: Allows offline-mode connections, but usernames can be impersonated.

Max Players

Controls how many players can join simultaneously. Pawn allows you to exceed Minecraft's default hosting limit of eight players. Actual capacity depends on your hardware and network.

Forwarding Region ADVANCED

Selects the relay region used for connections. Best Relay is the default and automatically selects a suitable relay.

Protocol Translation ADVANCED

Allows players on different supported Minecraft versions to join the same world. Some version-specific features or modded content may not be compatible.
